Year 11 students from across NSW are being given the chance to visit historic WWII sites in Japan and America.
Funded by ClubsNSW, the initiative will see six students travel to Hiroshima, Tokyo and Pearl Harbor as part of the 11-day ClubsNSW Premier’s WWII Memorial Tour in July 2022.
To secure their place on this trip of a lifetime, students must submit a 1000-word essay which answers the question ‘Are the lessons of WWII still relevant today?’ by 5pm on 13 June. The six winners will be announced on 20 June before they embark on their journey with ClubsNSW CEO Josh Landis and Minister for Veterans David Elliott on 21 July.
Year 11 students must be aged 16 or 17 to apply via the webform at Clubs NSW.
