As we begin the 2026 school year, I extend a warm welcome back to our students, staff, families and alumni. I hope the holiday break provided time for rest, reflection and connection and that everyone has returned refreshed and ready for the year ahead.

The opening week of term has been calm, purposeful and positive. It has been pleasing to see students settle quickly into routines and learning and to observe the strong sense of order, respect and pride that continues to define Sydney Technical High School. I am very much looking forward to the upcoming swimming carnival, which will be a wonderful opportunity for students to participate, compete and support one another.
