In Years 9 and 10 the Technology Faculty offers the practical course Industrial Technology. This course is offered in four streams: Electronics, Engineering, Metal and Timber. All involve making practical projects but the emphasis and materials for the projects depends on the strand chosen. For example in Industrial Technology Electronics most of the projects will involve making electronic circuits, while in Industrial technology Engineering the projects may be from various materials, but they are chosen to illustrate engineering concepts. We also offer Graphics Technology, which is a graphics course that explores all forms of technical drawing. Students will do pencil and computer drawing across the fields of engineering, architecture, and graphical design.
