Technology Years 11-12

Engineering Studies is a theoretical course that analyses what engineers do, explains engineering mechanics, explores engineering materials and teaches students how engineers communicate graphically.  Engineering Studies is an applied course that takes mathematics and science principles and places them into a real life engineering framework.

The school results in Engineering are exceptional and are significantly above the HSC State mean.  Students are frequently on the HSC merit list in Engineering.

Design and Technology is a practical HSC course where students will do a Major Design Project for their HSC. Students will do a variety of smaller projects learning about materials, design and documentation before they choose their own project, which accounts for 60% of their HSC mark.
