St George Girls High School SRC Members Visit Sydney Tech

STHS Year 11 and Year 12 SRC together with SGGHS SRC Representatives

SGGHS Student Representative Council Members visited Sydney Tech to speak at our first indoor assembly since April 2021.  The girls helped to celebrate International Womens Day which was celebrated around the world on Tuesday 8 March. The girls spoke to those present about what it is like to be a young woman in our world.  The theme of this year's International Womens Day is #BreakTheBias  The girls told us that "Whether deliberate of unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead.  Knowing that bias exists isn't enough.  Action is needed to level the playing field."
