Resources and technology
Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
Housed within the library building is a variety of modern teaching and learning spaces designed to support both individual study and collaborative learning.
The mezzanine level features a dedicated senior study area for Years 11 and 12, complete with soft seating and group work zones. The library also includes three seminar rooms, two classroom areas, and comfortable reading nooks for quiet relaxation.
Facilities include interactive whiteboards, networked computers and an extensive range of literature available in many formats.
To encourage social interaction and cognitive development, the library also offers chess sets and a variety of games for students to enjoy during breaks.
Our Technology department offers students hands-on access to a range of specialised learning environments, including computer labs, drawing rooms, and fully equipped workshops for working with wood, metal, electronics, and plastics.
Students have the opportunity to explore Computer Aided Design (CAD) using multiple 3D printers, bringing their concepts to life through practical application. Engineering theory and design are supported by advanced software programs available in dedicated computing labs, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and technical skill development.
Pemulwuy, formerly known as the Careers Learning Centre, is a dedicated, self-contained space on school grounds designed to support students in planning their future pathways. The refurbished facility features a modern office environment and provides access to a wide range of resources, including specialised career guidance software and personalised job and course planning tools.
Throughout their high school journey, students are supported in identifying their strengths, interests, and aspirations. They are guided in exploring how these align with future careers and further study options, ensuring a tailored, informed approach to their post-school planning.
Our school boasts expansive grounds, featuring four basketball courts, a soccer field, practice cricket nets, a volleyball court, and a large turf field, providing ample space for a wide range of sporting activities.
In addition to on-site facilities, students benefit from access to the Hurstville Aquatic and Leisure Centre for various sports and training programs. We also make use of high-quality facilities provided by Georges River Council, further enriching our physical education and extracurricular offerings.
